Direct Production Buyer – Gaydon – 12 months - £28.85-£38.42 PH

This is a professional buying role within the Production Procurement .

Duties are relationship management of a group of suppliers, net cost reduction targets inclusive of negotiation of supplier claims ensuring raw materials process and scrap recovery process is adhered to. Material planning and logistics production plants sourcing off cycle programme requires in relation to model year changes, obtaining quotes in a timely fashion, leading value for money analysis with the cost engineering team and support the delivery of parts for launch.

Candidates will be ideally working in a Automotive or another advanced Manufacturing Industry, able to manager a complex and multi-faceted workload, with post graduate education level or and CIPS qualified with a strong and extensive track record of Procurement experience, strong customer/stakeholder focus able to asses and set out the strategic development of their suppliers.
