Maintenance Technician  – 6 months - £53k pro rata  – Sheffield

To provide a comprehensive breakdown, planned/preventative maintenance and continuous improvement service to support the conversation team objectives, to achieve site manufacturing goals and engineering strategy.

Duties are to work with the maintenance planner to ensure effective maintenance is planned and executed, ensure GMP standards are followed, contribute to the overall achievement of the Sheffield site manufacturing goals and engineering strategy. Work with maintenance to ensure effective maintenance is planned and executed, work with onsite suppliers to order part for maintenance work on outages.

Candidates will be Electrically/Mechanically biased with basic engineering discipline, familiar with modern control systems including PLCs, servo drivers, communication networks, know the legal and compliance issue, ability to use a number of fault finding techniques with experience of SAP PM, demonstrate a track record of Factory Engineering with a preference towards food production, FMCG environment, Knowledge of TPM, CI techniques in particular AM/PM, BDA. A technical qualification in engineering or related discipline.
